a rat's story part 4 (chapter 7&8)

chapter 7

snow left her den and waited for rex to join her to go see the cats. soon she met with rex and the left to go see the cats. once they got to the spot they watched the cats from they saw there was only one cat. they heard a noise ans saw a rat coming towards them. "who is out there?" the rat called. snow knew who the rat was as soon as the rat spoke. it was dusty. dusty walked up to them."oh its you two..."dusty said. "well duh, we are the only ones who watch cats from here" replied snow. "i was thinking the creature had came back" dusty told them. "creature? what creature?" rex asked. "yeah what creature?" snow added. "i dont know but i saw a large golden animal that looked like a cat but it ran off." dusty told them. "anyway your are lucky its you two, i would have told fang if it was someone else"
snow knew the creature had to be a cat. snow was about to comment on the creature but as she began to talk rex lost his grip and started to fall. snow helped him up and all that had fallen was a small stick. the began to calm down but then they saw two green eyes watching them. they saw a cat!

chapter 8

callie was on night patrol. she waited for a sound or movement. then she heard something drop she saw a stick that was not there before and as she looked up she saw a small pink tail leave over the cliff. she crawled up the rocks on the cat side of the river.then she saw the rats. the rats looked scared. "dont eat us!"a small white rat called out! "we are not tasty!" a brown/white rat added. "i wont eat you as long as you stay on your side"callie told them.
