Artist Competition
Dun Mountain Criollos are exceptional horses, and their strength lies in hardiness and stamina.
They are best at endurance and ranchwork, although many horses can be trained for other uses,
depending on their personal abilities. They are known for their innate feisty personalities and
are incredibly intelligent, putting every rider under their own personal test. It takes a lot of work
to bond with one of these horses, but once you do, the partnership is for life.
Unique color is prized among criollos, and they come in a wide range. The only colors & markings
currently not seen in the breed are appaloosa, rabicano, tobiano, Birdcatcher spots, Tetrarch spots,
or Bend-Or spots. DMCs are not large horses, standing from 13-15 hands high. Their eyes, unusually,
can come in any color independent of the base coat and markings.
DMCs are ranked on four things: confidence, stamina, conformation, and agility. In each section
they’re rate from poor to excellent, and each rating can be used to calculate how well they do
in their chosen field.
How do I adopt?
Any DMC with a background is up for adoption. Clicking on that criollo will lead you to their page,
where there will be a form for you to copy, paste, and fill out. Remember, unless the criollo is FCFS
(first come first serve), you do not automatically own the criollo, and are instead part of a friendly
competition with multiple other people. Put your best work forward, and you might win!
Can I get a custom?
Customs can only be won during events or competitions.
When are these events?
There’s at least one event every month, with bigger events during specific times of the year. In
these, you’ll be able to win wild horses, foal coat modifiers, semi to full custom horses, and many
other things!
Can we have custom items added to our horse?
Not at the moment, no.
How many horses can I have?
There’s no limit!
What about breeding?
Breeding is not currently implemented at this time.
