Viper had been hunting on her own. She had spent moons in this grassland by now, and was beginning to feel at home here. For a long time, it was only her, and all the mice and rabbits that littered the area.
That is, until now, for while she had been chasing a rabbit, she came across a kit. It had seemed like they had been abandoned out here and, not wanting to leave the kit out there to die, Viper had walked up to them, asking where their parents were. Or at least, that's what she had planned on doing. The kit was about 5 moons old and had batted her nose when she got close. They were obviously scared, and Viper wasn't too surprised. She backed away and had confronted the kit in a calm tone. They had said that their name was Snowy, was that he had been lost for awhile now, after wandering away from his twoleg's home. After hearing out his story, she had gently asked if the kit would want to stay with her, knowing that if any danger had come onto the grasslands, the kit wouldn't stand a chance alone. The kit who had not wanted to stay out there alone, had agreed to go with her, and thus, she was essentially their new mother. She planned on teaching him all the skills about survival that her parents had, and that, she would do. After Tornadoclan was formed, he was given the name Snowpaw, and has been Viperstar's apprentice ever since.
