This sima has a legendary additional power however I don't know what that is so to win this sima you must tell me what their additional power is and what they use it for.

- The additional power can not be water as that is the power of this simas jewel.
- You can only win one of the "Host" simas but you can try out for multiple so keep that in mind.

How do they use it: Mars uses his power to grow and sustain berried plants for canaries he retrieved from the above grounds after hearing that they were good for finding and then avoiding gaseous areas deep in the mines from a visiting abovegrounder. He also uses his power to give the underground community a healthy food source so nobody ends up starving or eating rocks. His plants, if he does not have one of his birds, can be used as a secondary warning system of gas or gas leaks nearby his location.

Additional Power -- Gemstone Growth -- Cubic can cause gems to start growing or forming wherever he chooses-- they have a hyper-accelerated growth rate making them emerge incredibly quickly, however they also decay away at a rapid pace when Cubic looses focus. He can also cause pre-existing jewel clusters to grow, which enables him to keep them a bit sturdier than his normal projections. Cubic's ability to conjure these gems varies-- if he has bigger gems, it takes much more concentration to maintain them and he can't hold them up as long-- if he has smaller gems, it's much easier for him to handle. If he uses his power too much he tires out and has to rest for a day before he can use them in full again. [ NOTE - - - Cubic needs a dust powder to create his gemstones, something he always keeps on him. His power activates the powder, which is made of gemstone components, and this is what causes the crystals to form. He can also use his power in reverse to turn pre-existing gemstones into powder for later use ]

How He Uses It --

Mining Work - - Cubic works in the mines under his brother Zircon, where he uses his powers for the sake of his job. Cubic takes work very seriously when under his brother's strict supervision. He has a few tricks that help him mine, one of which being forming a thick crystalline layer over his fore-claws so he can break through particularly strong sections of rock-- he also forms this coating around his teeth for the same purpose. He can't harden areas of his body the same way Zircon can, but the gemstones give him at least some method of mining without tools. His claws can't handle as much as Zircon's can, but they work out alright. Cubic can also form larger crystals to serve as bridges or makeshift elevators, but these tasks take a lot more energy out of him. His crystals emit a dull glow, so sometimes he forms them on his body to navigate darker cave structures, but they are not permanent and break off once he gets too tired to maintain them.

Showboating - - When he's not at work, Cubic has a more playful personality that motivates him to be a bit more of a show-off to other simas. Cubic can form items out of his gems in the same way he can form bridges and elevators at the mines, and all the same it still takes a lot of energy away from him. Sometimes he forms grand sculptures or other things to impress his fellow simas. He also enjoys decorating himself with gemstone growths to impress other simas. He tries to make himself look cool whenever he can.

Emotion - - He doesn't always try to do it, but sometimes his powers just spill out. He uses his powers so often that they're exceptionally natural to him-- just like breathing-- and just like breathing, it just happens whether he plans it or not. When Cubic experiences strong emotions or, in some cases, strong nightmares-- gemstones form over his body and sometimes threaten to cover him entirely or inhibit his movement. When he has a terrible nightmare it looks like he's going to be totally trapped in gemstone-- which usually requires someone to wake him up to shatter the trance.

xxxxxJet’s additional power is the control of seismic waves. Though he doesn’t do it often, preferring not to interfere with the natural order of things as long as the balance is intact, when he does strike it’s sudden and powerful.

xxxxxJet’s earthquakes have been known to cause entire cities to crumble to the ground, and occasionally even islands to dissolve back into the ocean. The seismic waves occur at an intensity that is beyond any scale or measurement tool we have currently, and the quakes they cause have lasted multiple hours, far beyond that of anything naturally caused.

xxxxxThe process of creating an earthquake is quite simple. Jet slams one or both of his front paws into the ground, causing a slight quake around him, then directs the rest of the force, with his horns, to wherever he wants to send the waves - taking into account the way that the different layers of Earth will affect their trajectory. In this way, he can pinpoint exactly where he needs to direct the waves. In some cases it’s difficult or even impossible to only target the necessary area, so Jet ends up traveling around the world in underground cave systems in an effort to be as exact as possible and keep unnecessary damage to a minimal level.

xxxxxThough usually he strikes land, occasionally he has to cause a quake in the ocean. When this happens his water powers often end up combining with the shock, sending an extremely powerful and damaging tsunami to any land unfortunate enough to be in its way. These tsunamis are usually as bad as the quakes that caused them, and have the potential to flood entire islands, destroying everything in their paths.

*note that in the Sima universe, he would not be involved in the lore and his powers would be watered down to close range/targeted only, to avoid confusion with deities*

How do they use it:

xxxxxThough seemingly a bit of a showoff at first, Jet does an incredibly important job. He’s tasked with keeping the tectonic plates in line, which he does by causing these earthquakes. Some earthquakes of course are natural and he had little to nothing to do with them, but ones that occur away from fault lines are typically his doing.

xxxxxAs often as he can, he tries not to strike near populated areas or anywhere else there’s a threat of causing significant damage. He’s very serious about what he does, and prefers not to cause any casualties in the process. For his own protection, though, he can’t reveal himself or his power - so he usually can’t give any sort of warning when he does have to strike in a high risk area. Due to this he often feels guilty about any loss of life that occurs because of his quakes.

xxxxxOccasionally, however, his earthquakes have been used to assist him or others. When necessary, he can cause intense quakes that have been pinpointed with extreme precision, affecting only a small area. Though he stays behind the scenes, he occasionally helps demolition crews by causing one of these under a building. Most of the time he uses them as a form of self defense, causing a precise quake which blocks an entrance to the cave system he lives in or makes something fall on someone who is a threat to him.
