Welcome to Deerkat Adoption Center, where you
can adopt your very own deerkat! These elusive, strange creatures
live in the depths of ancient forests. Many olden legends suggest that
deerkat are the protectors of the forest, fending off unwanted and
evil beasts with their mighty antlers. Nowadays, deerkat have small,
deer-like antlers, and are very tame, even being claimed as pets by
many humans looking for a gentle addition to the family. They come
in almost any color and have a wide variety of traits due to humans
breeding them. Deerkat aren't very social, but can occasionally can
be seen with other deerkat in small hunting groups with no clear hierarchy.

- Big, pointed ears
- Huge, night vision eyes
- Long running legs
- Fluffy tail
- Small, deer-like antlers

They are scavengers and will eat
anything they can find, occasionally
hunting for small animals.

1. Be kind and patient. This is a brand new species, so it'll be a little slow starting out!

2. Don't make your own deerkats. This is a closed species- only artists and people with myos can make them.

3.Do not steal other people's deerkats. This speaks for itself- don't steal, it's rude.

4. Notify a mod when trading deerkats or gifting them to others. There is an archive, so please keep us up to date!

Deerkats can have many different features. Listed below are the different mutations a deerkat might have, and how rare they are!

weight, colored sclera,
heterochromia, teeth/ claws,
expression edits

Hair above the jawline,
custom tongue,
nose edits, more fur

Less fur, hair below the jawline,
custom pupil, custom tail,
custom small horns/ antlers,
custom ears

Large antlers, extra eyes,
extra limbs (NOT including extra heads),
height edits, up to three tails, one halo

multiple halos, wings, up to nine tails,
glowing parts, goop/ slime parts,
transparency, multiple heads
