For many centuries, it has been believed that Vampires and Werewolves [Lycans] were mortal enemies; always at one another's throats but what does any of them actually know why? Could it have something to do with their origins or was it something that happened after they species where born? Each race has their own story of how the eternal war between Vamps and Weres' began but the main plot stays the same.

It was two brothers of a very distinct and respected Romanian clan that were the prologue of it all. Decebel and [name here] Dragomir; the eldest sons of Aleksander Dragomir, Warlord, Duke and the Patriarch of the Dragomir Clan. The Dragomir Clan has been around since at least the early seasons of the fifth century if not earlier. Described as "the rarest of bloodlines", it was from within the blood of Aleksander Dragomir that the Dragomir Strain was mutated. This was due to his immune system's response to a plague that ravaged his home village and through this his rare bloodline bonded with and adapted the plague virus (and himself in turn) to his benefit. Aleksander was the only survivor of this deathly plague and as a result of his blood bonding with the virus, became "the first true immortal".
