Even though he resembles a bat, Will's biggest fear is the dark! The lack of light frightens him and since he has exceptionally good hearing, he can hear all the scary sounds coming from there. He lives in a well-lit cave and when he goes into a cave to explore it, he never leaves his trusty glowing crystal he uses as a flashlight and he sleeps with it beside him as a night light.
Whenever he gets scared, he starts clutching his little light and hides in a corner.

Biggest fear?: "No, Nya, I'm never going on a cave tour, defiantly not with you as my guide!" Rue, the little bat child, is deathly afraid of caves, never wanting to step paw in one. It scares him even to see a Sima go into one on the TV, so its kinda ironic that he resembles a bat.

Pipin is terrified of crowded spaces, and places that she doesn't know to be safe. She doesn't like new
places because there might be something dangerous that nobody told her about!
And when there are too many simas around, she gets disoriented, which she hates.
She'd rather stay somewhere cozy and safe and not risk being eaten or falling in a pit, thank you very much. Somewhere open, you can be attacked from anywhere, but in a nice cozy den - which you've already checked isn't dangerous - is much better.
