i had a dream come to me last night about these guys so I decided to quickly sketch these out <3

they are an open species with a catch - you must make one for the community before you can make a custom for yourself !
this way, everyone can get a chance to own one even if they can't use oekaki or draw. basically, everyone in the community is a staff

you can make any kind of competition, first come first serve, art, writing, etc, just like you were an artist for a closed species!

species traits:

- females are smaller, and have long horns
- males are larger, and have snubby horns but big antlers
- females are more likely to have magical abilities than males, and can float easier

ranking tiers:

- 1 community sneer: 1 unedited custom slot
- 2 community sneers: 1 common edit to be applied to any sneer
- 3 community sneers: 1 uncommon sneer custom slot
- 4 community sneers: 1 uncommon edit to be applied to any sneer
- 5 community sneers: 1 rare custom slot
- 6 community sneers: 1 rare edit to be applied to any sneer
+ so on: 1 rare edit OR 2 uncommon edits OR 1 common custom slot for every sneer created afterwards

so, if you have made 6 sneers already you are now an official member, and you may claim either 1 rare edit, 2 uncommon edits, or 1 common sneer slot for each additional sneer you make after that.

edit list:

common
- no edits
- different ear shape
- different horn shape

uncommon
- missing horn
- tail change
- fur edit (longer/shorter)

rare
- hair
- wings
- magical abilities
- missing limb

i have some questions about the custom ranking system.

- 1 community sneer: 1 unedited custom slot
- 2 community sneers: 1 common edit to be applied to any sneer
- 3 community sneers: 1 uncommon sneer custom slot
- 4 community sneers: 1 uncommon edit to be applied to any sneer
- 5 community sneers: 1 rare custom slot
- 6 community sneers: 1 rare edit to be applied to any sneer
+ so on: 1 rare edit for every sneer created afterwards

so say if you make 3 community sneers, would you have 1 unedited custom slot, 1 common edit, and 1 uncommon custom slot, or would the unedited custom be upgraded to uncommon? and if you make a custom does the counter "reset"? i.e. say you made 3 community sneers and made an uncommon custom. would the next sneer you make grant you a tier 1 unedited custom or a tier 4 uncommon edit?
basically, do the customs and edits stack or upgrade and does the counter reset when you make a custom?

i've got a few more questions regarding rarities and edits but i'll hold off on asking for now

Yes, you go through the list chronologically until you get to the last one. After you've made 6 sneers, you can either claim a rare edit for every new one you make or take a common sneer slot instead. You can adopt as many as you want from other users, however ! I'll add the common sneer slot to the list so it's more clear, I made these really quickly so I haven't had time to work on it so much ^^;

yes, of course ! i'll add a custom page right now for all the people that have made so far <3
from now on, people will need to use a form, however.
