Canis Concolor, otherwise known as Zvers, are an alien species that were discovered aboard a crashed spaceship. Initially believed to be too vicious to tame, humans have formed bonds with these strange beasts, despite warnings from government agents who want them rounded up and exterminated. Despite several attempts, the government has failed to capture the beasts and Zvers have become an established species on Earth. Many Zvers have now become cherished partners and have shown themselves to be extremely intelligent and capable of human speech via telepathy. What will your role in their lives be?

Prompt: Why are they so scared of dogs? When June was born, her mother took one look at her and decided she was useless, so her mother tossed her into the river. June fought for a solid hour, coming up and fighting the current, only to be dragged down again. As June closed her eyes and prepared to let the river take her, she felt someone grab her by the scuff of her neck. The stranger fought the current of the river and gently hurled her onto the bank.June looked up at the stranger and saw it was a. Beautiful silver tabby with Sapphire eyes. The she- cat took June in and raised her as her own. They lived happily for a few years.. Untill It came. It was during the night when it happened, June and her adoptive mother were fast asleep when, in the distance, large thunderous paws could be heard closing in fast on them. The she-cat stuffed June in a hollow log and spun around, blocking whatever it was that was coming. All of a sudden, a giant black dog leaped out of the bushes and lunged for June's mother. The she-cat fought with all her might, but it wasn't enough, the dog locked it's teeth around her neck and dragged her into the woods, the last thing June heard was a scream, then silence. Ever since that day, June has been terrified of dogs.

Why are they so scared of dogs?:

When the government attempted its so-called "cull" of the new alien life you knew they were coming when you heard the dogs. The dogs tracked them by scent and would violently attack any Zvers they found. Not the fault of the mutts precisely its what they were trained to do rewarded to do. But when you heard the bark of the dogs its symbolized every fear known to those running. It stood for the men in the suits whose identical faces showed no emotion as they caged Zvers and dragged them away or even "culled" them in the streets. The barks of the dogs stood for fear. To this day Eva is wary of the meaning their barks used to hold.
