Winter Goddess

Legend says that once a year, the Winter Goddess travels down from her heavenly throne in the sky and arrives on the frigid earth disguised as a dog. She walks the alleys as a stray dog begging for food from strangers, and much later reveals herself at the Festival of Canis, where her canine form becomes clothed in expensive dresses, sashes, and fabrics, and she slowly transforms into a lovely woman who then blesses the villagers and ascends to the sky once more. This picture depicts her mid-transformation, still in her canine form but glowing with many magical colors and curvy hair flowing down her shoulders.
