I am ugly. To put it simple, I am ugly. I have been disowned by my own mother, (who I never knew), and know live as a freak in a circus for aristocrats to gawk at. Most people take one look at my mask, my scar on my eye that is just visible, and the purple bruise by my deformed lips, and slowly back away like I'm some kind of psychopath. The kinder ones actually talk to me, and if they do, our conversation usually goes like this:
Person: Why do you wear a mask?
Me: No-one wants to see my face.
Person: I bet your beautiful underneath, you shouldn't force yourself to wear a mask.
Me: I'm not, so don't put any money on your bet.
Person: *Laughs* Come on, please take it off.
Me: Fine. *takes off mask*
Me: No-one wants to see my face.
Person: I bet your beautiful underneath, you shouldn't force yourself to wear a mask.
Me: I'm not, so don't put any money on your bet.
Person: *Laughs* Come on, please take it off.
Me: Fine. *takes off mask*
Thats when their eyes widen, then they scream, then they run. Thats when they see my deformed face, blackened left cheek covered in boils and scratches, huge scar that stretches across my whole face, strange lightning-bolt shaped lump on my right cheek that sticks out, and my eerie, completely white eyes. Yes, my eyes are completely white. I have no iris, or pupil. I am blind in one eye, which is covered in a layer of film. Admit it. I am a monster.
