General Information
A light drizzle, a heavy down pour, a frigid yet gentle snowfall. These, along with many other weather patterns, are part of what makes up our world. A child always wonders, however, how such changes come to be every day. Why is it some days that the sky is sparse of clouds, allowing the sunlight to bring warmth to everything on the earth, while other days, a light rain hydrates all? Is it because of science? Pfft, no, of course not, silly!

These weather patterns are the work of small cloud spirits called Kumais. Sizing up to anywhere between the size of an average American Curl cat to a Maine Coon, these wonderful creatures spend most of their time in the clouds that you observe nearly every day. How else did you think that cloud formed a shape that looks vaguely like a duck? The various aspects of Earth fascinates them, which is where they get most of their inspiration for the clouds.

Kumais can vary in size. Measured from their nose to the tips of their tail, they can be anywhere from the size of an adult American Curl to the massive Maine Coon. Four horns protrude from their heads; two small ones that point up to the sky, and two long ones that curl behind their heads.

Reproduction
Kumais can have any sexual orientation, as they can breed with any Kumai they please. Kumais can be bred multiple times, but for their own health, as well as their Kuits, they must wait 3-4 weeks between breeding sessions. Litter sizes are typically 1-2 Kuits in size, but may once in a blue moon can be a bit bigger.

Diet
Kumais are mostly herbivoures - if they were to eat food from the Earth, that it. Kumai's mainly eat their own creations - where else do the clouds disappear to? The clouds they create produce all of the nutriets a Kumai needs to survive. However, they do enjoy berries and fruits!

Social Life
Though they can be quite socialable, Kumais tend to be a bit shy when meeting someone for the first time - even with other Kumais. Once they get comfortable, though, they will enjoy being by the other's side. This doesn't mean that every Kumai is the same, though!

General

• All CS rules apply, of course.
  
• This is a closed species, so no making your own, sorry!
• There is currently no limit to how many you can own
• Marking is allowed, but no spam please
• If your question doesn't get answered in the thread, feel free to PM me c:
• You may not edit the design of your Kumai, or give them any special edits


Gifting & Trading

• You may not trade away your Kumai for site currency/pets
• You made trade your Kumai for another Kumai, or another species
• You may gift your Kumai away
• You must own your Kumai for at least a week before trading/gifting it away


Breeding

• You may not breed your adults yourself, an artist should do it for you for it to be official!
• If both users agree, you may breed your Kumai with someone else's
• Don't harass users to breed with their Kumai.
• The parents of the Kuits are the only ones who can determine the fate of the litter
• Kumais have a cooldown of 4 weeks between breeding
• A Kumai can breed with any other Kumai


Warnings & Bans

• You will recieve a warning for blantantly breaking a rule
• You can receive two warnings before a ban is issued
• If the ban is permanent, your Kumais will be taken away, and put up for adoption
