50 years ago today,

The world's first man in space died aged just 34.
Gagarin died on a routine flight seven years after he shot to global fame by orbiting the Earth for 68 minutes. His mission handed the Soviet Union a spectacular propaganda coup and Gagarin quickly became the USSR's biggest star.

quite unfortunate a hero to mankind had to go so soon.
I don't draw people for a reason but... I tried. I know where my mistakes are but critique is still welcome.

Hey, I thought your drawing looked really cool! I'm just wondering, is it Space Kid from Camp Camp? I just thought he looked like the character but its probably me just freaking ut at anything that has the slightest resemblance to camp camp lol. Anyways, it looks amazing!

I'm pleased to see a few of you drop by to comment & like, as well as to see others care about history like I do. Thanks, I appreciate it!
