Tattletail's Name: Caedmon
Prompt Response: Caedmon got his feathers from an adventure he had outside of his old owner's home. His owner lived deep in a forest cabin with the rest of his family. One night, Caedmon escaped the cabin through the doggy door to explore the wilderness, which is something he had never really seen before. On his adventure, he discovered a crow's nest lying upon the ground. Conveniently for Caedmon, his owner was a frequent bird watcher and someone who studied birds. Knowing just what to do, Caedmon returned the nest to its rightful tree. Before leaving, the crow that had created the nest, and presumably the eggs inside, returned and gifted Caedmon two of its feathers. Caedmon later dyed them to match his fur.

Tattletail's Name: Ryx
Prompt Response: After years of being stuck in a factory (Test after test, Ryx seemed to have an overactive- what did they call it- Waydrive), the workers disappeared. The Mama of their factory had told her Tattletails they went to their families, and so should they! So, with a newly modeled Tattletail accompaniment, Ryx set off. He and his companion only traveled at night, as per Mama's instructions, but Ryx couldn't help but marvel at the people who passed by their alley. The people rushed in and out of glittering buildings, cheering and shouting, all the while they flaunted their flowing outfits about. Some wore sparkled, others wore bird furs- feathers, their companion corrected- some even moving about so wildly they would lose their hats and decorations on their dresses would fall off. Ryx excitedly tore the feathers off one floppy hat that'd been blown off a woman's hat as she exited the brightest-glowing building. Ryx quickly nestled them into their hair before bouncing about, showing off to his companion.
Before they even knew it, however, the woman grabbed her hat, as well as Ryx. He began babbling excitedly, calling a quick goodbye to his companion as the woman took him away. He had found a home! Or, at least, somewhere to stay temporarily.
Turns out, the woman recognized Ryx as a rare Tattletail model, and took Ryx the next day to a pawn shop to sell off.
And, honestly, Ryx was just excited to show their feathers off to shoppers.
