Wanting constructive criticism!

Postby Mandariin » Sun Mar 04, 2018 11:57 pm

Hello, so I'm normally a traditional artist, and have been doing that for most of my life. However, I have not once tried digital art, and this is my first shot. Trust me, I'm not this shaky in real life, but I would still love some criticism to help me improve. For example, I'd like to know how to fill by not having all those white pixels near the linework Thanks! :)

Super cute! As for the pixels near the line art I find it best to just avoid the paint bucket tool and color using the pen. While it's slow coloring rather the filling it often provides the best results! At least for me anyways.

Also I recommend checking the space around your art. sometimes you'll accidentally leave dots or lines which are an easy fix with the eraser tool c:

    It's really cute!

Not saying for this specific piece, but a high stabilizer is sooo helpful (wouldn't recommend my gallery, more of a joke) on digital. On Oekaki, I put mine on between 70%-90% because I have such a shaky hand.
