i had an idea for a species for the contest, then began this idea and forgot it was a contest. i tend to sell ideas anyways so i thought it best to see if you really are committed to the lineart, however if you are not too fond of them then i would love to keep them. sorry to be a bother!
i'll draw my original design and see if it a good suit for your preferences (:
