The borders of Catalan house a sacred organization known as The Order of Lezradine. One of their missions is to protect and house both magical artifacts said to be blessings of the deities and those who can wield them. It has been said that the use of a magical item is attributed to bloodlines. Only those individuals related to the divine stars are capable of harnessing the powers from these objects, and they're known to the world as Druids. The Order itself usually keeps to themselves and are free from any one kingdom's control. However, their one true goal is to keep the balance of the world. Therefore when fate calls upon them they will send out Druids to fight in wars between the kingdoms, picking sides they believe benefit the greater good.

As these druids are so precious, being few of their blood, they come to the Order as children to be guarded and taught how to use their artifacts. Rivan was such a child. The Monari family was in great shock to learn that their youngest son had indeed inherited the genes of Lady Helene, the divine of Order and Kindness. Reluctantly he was escorted to the Order for the tensions in Galadan—his home kingdom—were rising under the Tyrant Emperor and they feared for his safety. Rivan then spent the rest of his life only knowing the Order as his home. They gave to the boy an artifact of Helene's making: a jewel pendant to wear around his neck. When in contact with a Helenian Druid who has bonded with the item such as Rivan the pendant would roar to life with magic. Its properties were of shield generation and concussive beams. He could essentially create a barrier between others and harm, and it also reacts to protect him when he is in danger. The beams were seen as capable weapons with deadly force.

Once an artifact has been bonded to a Druid, only they can access its power until such a time where their life ends. Rivan is now the sole Druid of this pendant.

Over the course of his life, he has trained under the Order as an Apprentice before becoming a full Druid and then did whatever work was required of him under this new title. Eventually his talents, empathy, and intelligence led him to rise to a Grand Druid. This provided him access to the Order's council and became essential in decisions, as well as able to train younger apprentices to harness the artifact's abilities. Currently, he is training young Cian and Aoife Kavanagh, brilliant young druids who have also been orphaned after the murder of their parents. Rivan is fiercely protective of these two children, sees them almost as his own, and will never let any harm come to them.
