Batterfly #31!

...Everywhere there were hundreds of little bat-like creatures with butterfly wings. This was a scientific breakthrough! How had they evaded the minds of men for so long? It certainly does take a long time to gain their trust. They're prey animals you see, so instinctively they must always be alert and cautious, especially when it comes to animals they've never encountered before. They entrust very few with the gift of their companionship, will you be one of those few?

I've been so busy that I haven't had time to organize an official holiday event, so I'll be releasing holiday-themed BFs when I can <3
Anyway, I decided to base this one off of Rudolph! To win them, write your very own short holiday poem!
It can only have a maximum of seven lines and can be in any style you like. It doesn't have to be Christmas related seeing as not everyone celebrates that c:

Don't know what them ol' northerners are talking about
The wreath is pretty, it sure is neat,
But there ain't no snow crunchin' underneath my feet.
We rev the truck and pull it out of the ground
