Roland is the wannabe rich kid on the block. He carries himself with dignity and pride, and often looks down on others he meets. Fancy, posh and rather petty, Roland best gets along with girls, as he finds them far more tolerable than the rough-and-tumble males that he so often meets.
Roland fancies order and system above all- his room is a clean and pristine collection of precious oddities and collectibles, such as fancy doorknobs or culinary silverware. His collection is his pride and joy, and he spends most of his free time polishing their sheen and organizing them.
Despite his incredibly snobbish and egotistical nature, Roland cares very much about those that can earn his favor. He goes all out for birthday parties and treasures his friends like his collectibles- he cares for them and tries to lead them in the right direction, always trying to polish them up.

Roland butts heads with his siblings often, particularly Ben, whom he has a bit of a rivalry with. Their clashing egos often lead to various disputes over small things, and Roland is the king of grudges. He hates sharing his things and if he feels something belongs to him, he will not allow anyone to touch it without his permission. Even so, Roland cares deeply for his brother.

Roland and his sister, Pearl, are also very close. Because of his enjoyment and fascination with her Tea parties, Pearl and Roland have developed a very "girly" relation ship, and they rarely fight, though Pearl may go after Roland if he does something stupid.

Roland is particularly close to his father Wyken and spends most of his parental bonding time with his prestigious father.
