And who are you, the proud lord said,
that I must bow so low?
Only a cat of a different coat,
that's all the truth I know.
In a coat of gold or a coat of red,
a lion still has claws,
And mine are long and sharp, my lord,
as long and sharp as yours.
And so he spoke, and so he spoke,
that Lord of Castamere,
But now the rains weep o'er his hall,
with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall,
and not a soul to hear.
that I must bow so low?
Only a cat of a different coat,
that's all the truth I know.

And mine are long and sharp, my lord,

A medeval fantasy/viking kalon loosely based on The Rains of Castamere from Game of thrones. Initially he was going to be a generic red lion based kal that closely followed the original story, but he changed a lot along the way!
He's basically a viking king that once came from a southern house. As a teenager he arrogantly challenged his king and he responded by sending an army, effectively driving his house to extinction with him as the only survivor. In his escape he was taken by a group of vikings who intended to sell him when they returned to their homeland.
He convinced them that his family would pay any price for his safe return, but before the ship could leave the ock he took the opportunity to challenge a nearby polar bear to give him time to escape. The plan backfired when the bear killed all of the soldiers that were escorting him, and then attacked him, leading to his scars and missing leg. Though he was unarmed the bear collapsed dead before it could finish the job, succumbing to the wounds inflicted by the soldiers.
When the vikings found him they assumed that he was the one that killed the beast. Castamere, of course, gave them no reason to think otherwise.
He rapidly adapted to this new world. He's had his fair share of luck, but also proved himself to be an effective (and bloodthirsty) ruler. He is incredibly talented at finding short term, split-second solutions to urgent problems, but tends to fall flat on long term consequences. He regularly sets catastrophic events into motion that he rarely suffers for.
So long as he continues to stay alive, he doesn't particularly care.
