naturalis (NA-TCHUR-RA-LEES) or naturali (singular) are small, house cat-sized creatures, who are very in tune with their natural side. naturalis means "natural" in latin, and this name was given to them because they have been recorded spending most of their time in meadows or outside, and very quiet, calm creatures. they have four paws, a rounded muzzle, shorter back legs, and different variations of ears and tails. some naturali even have horns or manes. naturalis are very docile, calm creatures, who love to snuggle and be outside. they are very compassionate and have been noted to seem to always know what their owner is feeling and how to comfort them. they are also herbivores (only eats plants).

✘ naturali's may not be sold/traded for anything other than other naturali's, and you must post the correct form on the archives thread for the trade to be valid
✘ you may not claim your naturali as your own species, as the species belongs to me (novaturient). anyone found doing so will receive a strike or ban
✘ you may not design your own naturali, unless you are an artist or a guest artist, or you have supplied information for a design through a valid custom form. naturali's are a closed species, meaning nobody but me, ga's or artists may make them
✘ there is a three strike system. after earning one strike, nothing happens. after your third strike, you will receive a ban. this means that you cannot enter for new naturali's, breed your own naturali's, or grow your naturali's.
✘ if for some reason you no longer want a naturali, give them back by pming me (novaturient). you must own them for at least 2 weeks before doing so. a naturali cannot be given back if it has art belonging to it. instead, tranfer it to someone else who want it usign the transfer thread
✘ you may not use your naturali's as a fursona, which means you cannot make a fur suit or anything using your naturali(s) as a design

✔ you may own up to 50 naturali's
✔ you may roleplay with your naturali's
✔ you may breed and grow your naturali's, and you may also give them to the pound if need be
✔ for all rules regarding individual things (i.e. breeding, growths, etc.) see their corresponding threads
✔ you may request custom naturali's (using valid form, and meeting requirements) on the customs thread
✔ you may transfer your naturali to someone else as long as you post the correct form on the archives thread
✔ you may mark any of the naturali threads! no spamming though!

there are currently three different rarity tiers for naturali's: common, uncommon, and rare. each tier has it's own characteristics! some naturali's may be completely one rarity, whereas some others may have a mix (i.e. uncommon tail, common ears).

- pointy ears

- horn nubs
- back/neck mane

more traits are being added! for artists/guest artists, these names match up with the names in the oekaki drawing file thingy

naturali's staff are people that have been brought on to our team by submitting applications. almost all artists will start off as ga's and will either be hired as a full artist or not, depending on their designs as a ga. moderators must also fill out an application. all applications can be found on the "staff applications" thread. you may only post applications if that thread says "open"! any applications posted when it says "closed" will be considered invalid.

your naturali's can breed once every month, with a limit of three breedings per naturali. naturali's can breed with any other naturali, regardless of gender. only grown naturali's can breed. you can breed your naturali with another user's WITH their written consent, with proof shown in your breeding form.

custom naturali's can be obtained by the three following ways. first, if you are a GA, and have made your allotted 4 designs, you may make yourself an uncommon or below custom. if you are an artist, you may make yourself a rare or below custom once a month (if you have made 5 designs that month), and if you collect HM's (honourable mentions) from entering competitions and the like. please see the customs thread for more information
