- The archives of the world had been within the Marsh family for generations, but from the moment he was born to the day the previous archivist past Ragnar refused the historic calling. The elder of two brothers it was seen as his duty to carry on the sacred documentation and yet his heart yearned to become the legend rather than write down their stories. Thankfully his younger brother Magnus had a knack for the literary arts, and so the title of Archivist was fulfilled and Ragnar found freedom in adventuring. Over the years he became everything he sought out to be: daring, courageous, and in his mind a hero to the people. When battles broke out among the kingdoms he was on the front lines. His name is well known to all, "Ragnar the Lion" they call him for his ferocity and power. He embodies a confident and suave attitude that both charms and irritates those around him.
Yet if there is one thing he protects more than anything else, it's his reclusive brother archivist. Ragnar sees the world as two categories from those who can mess with Magnus (limited to only himself) and those who cannot (the rest of the world). He will drop everything to make sure his brother is safe and well, but his past time seems to be filled with annoying poor Magnus to no end. This includes switching the order of the archive's books, dragging dirt purposefully into the room, unfolding all of the carefully crafted paper cranes, and showing a general lack of interest in history. All of these of course in good fun, yet Magnus may not quite see it that way every time.
