Where are we?

Purr and his small bat friend have been wandering around for hours it seems. There's nothing here but grass, rocks and a sign that leads to many different areas nearby.
Purr looks at his new friend as they give him a look of fear. It seems they don't much like it here and they'd rather go back. Purr looks over his options and decides to follow the sign that points to Spooksville. Maybe they'll find someone to help them find their way back home. Purr's new friend hid their head in Purr's long fur, afraid of the worst happening to them.
As Purr took a few more steps there was some rustling in the bushes behind. Purr turned his head to see if anyone or anything was there. Perhaps it was just the wind. Purr continued walking with caution. For some reason it felt like he was being followed...
