Yep! When you look at the background of a normal drawing, it'll look white/whatever you made the background color
So... Can you edit your picture so that the background is transparent?
To do that you'll have to use layers again. The lowest layer is the background, and it is titled 'background'
Click the little black circle next to 'background' and the circle should turn white. The background of your drawing should turn checkerboard.
