[Knickknacks]

Just a sketch of a little critter I've made up.

That orb he's floating on is a unique thing their species do- they've got strong innate magical abilities, and summon their orbs soon after birth. The young spend a lot of time floating around on them, sometimes curled up on top and sometimes hanging on, sloth-style. Even as adults they're masterful at staying balanced on them.

They live in swampy, marshy areas, that are usually quite dark. Some of the inspiration for them comes from will-of-the-wisps, and that's basically what they do- cause travelers to get lost and sometimes buried knee-deep in mud, though rarely with malicious intent. Personality-wise, they're pretty mischievous, which kind of goes without saying. I don't have the whole mechanic of their orb thingies worked out yet, but I'm thinking it's somewhat of a magic source, and that its proportional in size to their body depending on their magic capability. Though, due to their aforementioned tendency toward strong magic, it's rare that one doesn't have an orb big enough to comfortably sit on top of.

Idk, kind of a late-night sketch/blurb. This is just one breed of Flirgibbet, I've got loads more species and might do some sketched of more in the coming days. Please don't use or copy my critters ^^"
