Any advice on ear stretching/How to let your parents do that

So uh- i have been wanting to stretch my ears out for months, so ive deiced to ask my parents if i could get the kit, ive been doing research on it as well, so i picked out stainless steel ones but my parents say no, my mom usually starts screaming how ill regret it and how they are dumb, and says that they wont shrink back. Personally i find gauges more prettier than earrings, if i did want earnings again i would get another ear pierced. so how to let your parents stretch your ears? and any tips on stretching?

Some advice I've gotten from a teacher is this: wait a year (I'd honestly recommend longer, but it's up to you) and see if you still want them just as much. You've only wanted them for a month, and this is a pretty final decision. You should make sure it's what you want.
