Edana initially reacted to the face in her fur as many Sheers do - with fear and disgust. She'd try to hide it with scarves and jackets, worried it gave off the wrong impression and scared others. Then she met her Protected. Instead of shrinking away from her, they nestled into her fluff, looking completely content and safe. No nightmares dare touch them with Edana and the face in her fur on watch. In time, Edana learned to love her fur just as much as her Protected did, and now she shows it off with pride.
