no steal.
i came up with these guys yesterday in class so I thought I"d make up a more official sketch here b4 they r forgotten/thrown out w/ rest of old schoolwork.
i dunno, anyone interested in 1 of these ? PM me or comment here if u r. Otherwise, closed species - don't use w/o permission !
some info translated from notes on pic:
- mostly live in water. very furry, but fur doesn't get heavy w/ water & flows nicely
- very flexible, can bend selves in half and loop around to get into all the nooks & crannies
- spots & tail act as gills (breathe through the skin there).
- fur on tail sheds & stops at random points. some have more/less fur on tail
- very short back legs, 3 toed and heavily webbed. used for paddling
- due to short back legs primarily waddle/crawl on land
- front legs used to grab things and for good reach. six toed
- three ear sets: rotatable, can hear lots
- wide tongue for drinking, food
- paw pads: tips are slitted and can expand in certain situations for better grip - otherwise retract for less water resistance
