Novair Foxes are currently on hiatus. I hope to bring them back soon, but for now they are inactive. Thanks for showing interest- marking is still open!

"Many moons ago, there was a faraway world known as Equicion. It was home to a species called Novair Foxes, an intelligent and mystical being with soft, cloud-like fur. They were a happy race who spent their time charting the skies and exploring unknown worlds, using the stars above as their guide. There was even talk of exploring a planet Earth, home to a group known as humans.

One day, however, the very stars that watched over Equicion went dark. A large shadow loomed overhead, blocking out the Novair Foxes' means of guidance. Many Foxes were lost that day, having been away from home and unable to travel back. The ones who remained held out hope of a clearer sky.

The hope was soon lost, however, and they realized they had to find another home. Gathering what was left of the star dust on their planet, they now keep it in necklaces near their hearts, where it continues to guide them in their search of a new home. Still, the darkness that clouds their once-familiar sky is growing, and a few Foxes have returned deformed and with contaminated dusts.

FAQ
1. How do I get a Novair Fox?
• Novair Foxes can be won through adoptions, which can be found in the 'color in' section. Adoption requirements are specific to each Fox, and could include simple or lengthy forms, 'impress me's, etc. You do not have to pay to adopt a Novair Fox.
2. What can I do with my Novair Fox?
• There are tons of things you can do with your Fox! Roleplaying and character-building are just a couple of examples.
2. Can I breed my Novair Fox?
• As of now, you may not breed your Fox. This may change over time once the species has had time to grow and develop.
3. What kinds of Novair Foxes can I adopt?
• There are (at the moment) 6 different factions of Novair Foxes. Please take a moment to look through each faction to learn their different traits and roles.
4. Why can't I trade or gift my Novair Fox?
• Because the species is so new, we would like to encourage thorough character-building. This means that we'd like for new owners to have a chance to bond with their Fox before they are able to trade or gift them. This also gives Novair Foxes time to acquire archivists and mods who can regulate future trading and gifting.

6. I would like to be a staff member! How do I apply?

• Seekers are a common faction of Novair Foxes.
• Their duty is to explore the universe long-range in order to find potentially habitable planets and planet clusters.
• They are known for having standard or large wings in order to travel long distances.

• Rescuers are an uncommon faction of Novair Foxes. There is one Rescuer released on each '9' (i.e.; #9, #19, #29, etc.)
• Their duty is to find and rescue "lost" Foxes.
• They are known for emitting light, whether through glow or a halo, and for being slightly smaller (note: their smaller size is only in lore- the adopts will look the same size as the rest.)

• Foretellers are a rare faction of Novair Foxes. Their is one Foreteller released on each 30, 60, and 90 (i.e.; #130, #260, etc.)
• Their duty is to tell the future and relay the information to Counsel Members, who will then decide what to do with the information.
• Foretellers are known for having no pupils and often times larger ears to better see and hear the future. They also tend to be more reserved.

• Lost Foxes are an ultra rare faction of Novair Foxes. They are not currently being released for adoptions (they're likely coming soon, though!)
• They are Foxes (typically former Seekers or Explorers) who have gone missing, and either return or are found by Rescuers
• They are known for returning with strange mutations and for having 'tainted' star dust. They are typically aggressive and feral, with no memory of their previous lives.

Before leaving their home to search for new lands, the Novair Foxes took with them a bit of stardust. Each Fox has their own stash of dust, which is kept in jewelry, typically a necklace. When opened, the dust takes the form of a 'familiar', which is a creature that is attached to each individual Fox. The creature may seem familiar (known to humans/real) or strange (mythical/made up).
The creature's job is to aid the Fox in their duties, and no matter what, to always guide them home.

This is a place for us to keep track of those who have broken Novair Fox rules. Rule-breakers will be dealt the appropriate strikes and bans based on their individual actions and track records. A user may receive an instant ban depending on the severity of their actions, or else they will be awarded strikes. A user who reaches over 3 strikes will automatically be banned.
