The Sandwings waged war on the Skywings and commited a mass genocide which only left about 200 Skywings alive. The Skywings feared that other tribes would turn them in to the Sandwings if they asked for refuge. After disappearance of Queen Terra, Princess Sandstone and Princess Fennec took up the throne as duel animus queens. Princess Dawn of the Skywings called the retreat as Queen Soarin seemed to have vanished.

This drawing depicts Condor gleefully cheering with his fellow Sandwings at their victory. The Sandwings now intend to use the mountains as extended territory for their own tribe.
