Relics are a species from an alien planet comprised almost entirely of desert. Extremely fast runners, their long, but thin fur keeps sand from cutting into their skin and prevents them freezing during the harsh nights. They possess an unusual ability to turn their bodies to liquid in order to fit into small spaces, on their home planet-most frequently to fit between large stones and avoid being crushed under rockfalls. They are predatory pack dwellers, who are easily 5 ft tall in adulthood.
They are dubbed "Relics", in short homage to their full name, Relikar Animonstros, as dubbed by other species on their home planet. And of course, their love of relics and things that smell old. They seem to like the smell of ancient things.
