what do they do with the scissors?: ciseaux loves to cut random pieces of paper. no matter what it is, they will cut it. ciseaux doesn't know why, but something urges them to do it. it's actually really satisfying to them, so maybe that's why?
ahh wait, i forgot about the young ciseaux... when ciseaux was young, their parents let them watch "edward scissor hands", one of the 'best films ever' according to ciseaux. the small infatuation with scissors grew after watching edward scissor hands, as ciseaux would roam around the house finding whatever object it was, and with scissors taped to their hands, they'd chop it into a hundred pieces.
therapy? yes, their parents have tried at least 4 times now, each time with different psychologists, but none have succeeded to pry the scissors out of ciseaux's hands. their parents have just grown to accept it by now.
at 16 years old, ciseau still loves their scissors, and doesn't plan on giving them away.

With only their scissors, paper, and their own mind, Kari creates a world of their own,
a perfect one, with beautiful beasts and lovely scenery. In simpler terms, they practice origami.
They find solace and peace in their artificial landscapes, skillfully cutting and folding away their worries
slowly but surely as they escape from reality's grasps into a world where there is nothing they cannot create,
where all rests in the palm of their hand. They feel powerful in their made-up paradise, however they
do not use their skills to take away from their land; they only add more to it. With their scissors,
they cut through the clouds and bring forth the sun, for as long as they have this world to escape to,
light will find them even in the darkest of times.
