nyrin - a reptilian species about the size of a housecat. nyrins are closely related to caimans, alligators, and crocodiles. even though nyrins have evolved to be more capable of life on land, they are semi-aquatic, and it is suggested to keep them in a home with a pool, or they may get bored. nyrins are easily entertained, giving them an object that they have shown interest in, like a stuffed animal, will entertain them for hours on end. they have mildly destructive personalities, and if you don't keep them happy, you may come home to your pillows ripped up and the contents of your fridge missing.

here's the very first nyrin, not really based off of anything, but they remind me of a mudslide for some reason?

henri tends to keep to herself, if she's not with her small group of friends. she doesn't get attached to people easily, and it takes a long time to earn her trust. henri's a lovely story teller though if you get to know her.

she swears by those stories, though most people accuse her imagination, since she reads a lot books that bear an uncanny resemblance to those tales.

henri is also the kind of person to obsess over conspiracies. she spends most of her time learning about the supernatural and secret government operations.

from first sight though, you wouldn't be able to tell. she looks dainty to say the least, although henri is truly quite adventurous. at least, she would be if she wasn't terrified of the outdoors.
