username:Leopardsong
name:Elysia Rothstein
gender:Female
what is her profession?: "Welcome to the A.C.I.O. Please scan your paw-print below for identification."
Elysia smiled upon hearing the automated voice; she had loved it since her first day. She placed her paw onto the sensor and waited to hear the voice once more.
"Welcome, Elysia Rothstein. Please proceed on to your unit headquarters. Have a good day."
The large doors opened to her, and she entered the building that held the best job she's ever had. She walked past the main office, being greeted left and right by her co-workers working on their own cases.
"G'morning Elysia!"
"Great to see you, Ms. Rothstein!"
Elysia walked down the hall to her office in the C.R.U., better known as the Cyber Response Unit of her work. She reached her door and reached for the dangling silver keys used for her many locks. She unlocked her door and revealed a tidy office filled with posters of motherboards and other computer related images. Upon her desk lied a small name tag reading "Director Elysia Rothstein". She took a moment to think of the events leading to her gaining this title: the case of the bodyless murder, keeping herself away from prison after being framed for a murder, the meeting about the recently fired director. Elysia made her way to her cherrywood desk and opened the drawer on the right of her legs. She pulled out a pamphlet she had received her first day of working with the Accociation of Criminal Investigation and Observation. She opened it up, reading about what she was told at first about her job.
"The Cyber Responce Unit of our association is one of most well known, but it is also one of the hardest to get into. This job includes numerous hacking tasks, great research skills, and extensive knowledge of electronic builds and how they work. To try for a position here, you'll go through intense background checks and various tests, including taking apart and rebuilding electronics within a short amount of time. You'll be working with our other units to help eliminate crime in our cities and to bring justice to those who need it most."
Elysia set the pamphlet into the drawer once again and closed it for the time being. Just two years ago, Elysia had taken on the base job in her unit, barely making it through her interviews and tests. Her courage, cooperation skills, and her abilities throughout her new career had led her to the moment she never thought she'd see: becoming the director of her unit. She was once a minor there, and now she leads her time with pride.
Elysia opened her computer, logged onto her profile, and began her daily work.

The Bodiless Murder"As your director, it is important to me that you know how this position came into my hands. I was framed for a murder, but it wasn't a regular one; it was a murder with no body. I had just been hired into the job of basic hacking, and the field agents requested that I went into the field to see what it was like. Amelia and the others searched the crime scene far and wide for the murdered victim, but they were nowhere to be found. I was glancing around when my name was called to the main scene. They showed samples of fur found on the weapon and asked to compare it to mine, since it was full of green and white, unlike the other agents. They paused for a moment, and broke it to me, telling me that it was my fur. Because there was more evidence against me, I was forced to suspend my job at the A.C.I.O. and spend all of my time sitting in a hard, cold cell. It took a while, but several months later I was released with no trial, only the password to my locked computer. It had turned out that the previous director before me was a bit of a sexist, and would go to any length to make sure I didn't get hired. When I was forced to be accepted by the rest of the directors, the old director was very unhappy. He was willing to frame a murder on me and was soon arrested for this horrible deed. My bravery and courage through this made the others decide who was best for the position of new director, which is why I stand upon all of you today. We can rise above anything that happens to us, no matter how bad it is. I'm here for all of you, and I hope you can keep that in your mind as we continue on our path to making the world a better place than it has ever been. Good day to all."
The cyber unit applauded louder than they had ever done before to Elysia's speech as she stood in awe, She loved her position and her co-workers. Everybody settled down, and the rest of the day progressed in a much more upbeat and motivated way.
