So far away,
On the grass we lay,
Gazing up at an endless expanse,
Holding us in a trance.
Thousands of stars,
And over there is Mars.
Then we strike quite the thought,
One we were never taught.
Are we truly alone,
In our own zone?
Or are there others?
Our unkown brothers?
Are we just another puzzle piece?
Our wondering will never cease.
Will we ever really know,
Even if we search high and low?
Only time will ever truly tell my friend,
Hopefully before we meet our final end.
