ylward means, 'Nobel Protector'. As a knight, Alyward has been loyal
to the book (Explained under Higharchy). He has high moral standards,
and always has been very picky to the type of people he associates with.

ylward enjoys being around people, but often doesn't speak up. Only
if his statement is important, he will speak up in a conversation.
His high ranking also prevents him from trusting people. As a young kit
he was too trusting, and often regretted being of 'nobel blood'. With
a slight temper, mixed with aggressive behavior towards unknown people,
he earned the title "Serpent's Blood".

aking highest comand of the fantasy country, of his army, he
became a highly respected leader. Aylward enjoys being in control,
but is submissive to the country's higharchy (Explained under Higharchy).

bedience to the laws made, are of upmost importance to Aylward.
If he seems someone deliberately disobeying the law, he takes
decisive action to preserve order.

ylward enjoys adventures, and seeing the world. He's studied a
wide variety of landscapes, and terrains.

This can get a little complicated,
so I will try to break this down.



his is a force/spirit that has the ability
to think and act. It brings peace and
harmony to all whom follow it's ways.
The rules are simple, and not over
demanding. All it requires is devotion
to only itself, like that of a God. Before
there was an actuall kingdom of
kalons that were devoted to it, the
Spirit would inspire those whom it chose
who fit the role of puting the laws into
a book.

his book is 1 of 2 connections that
the Spirit has to 'communicate' through.
It's main connection is a crystal that
has been placed in a well protected dome
or castle (Alyward's role is one of the
guards.). This crystal helps connect to
the book, which provides knowledge,
power, and health. It provides a healing
factor, and those who live under it's
'Range of Power' (The kingdom) gains
health over time (slowly growing
super-natural immune systems).
The range aslo provides a sheild,
those outside will be annihilated.
The Spirit brings unity to the people,
bringing them closer because of their
common knowledge.

The story begins after around 1500 years past since the Spirit has made
contact/made this new kingdom. Young and old, Kalons and other species a
like come and join this kingdom seaking protection and a new way of life.
Everyone enjoys dwelling together peacefully, and happily, living prosporous
lives. Aylward, enjoying this same thing, hums at his post, looking up into the
night sky.

Everything was perfect. Harmony was what the Spirit wanted, and it
enjoyed the sounds of laughter from children playing in the fields.

If only...
... there was a way,
to share this happiness to the world...

But soon... all this... would be gone...

The day came of the 1500th Anniversary of the Spirit's 'Begining'. Species
alike celebrated this wonderful event, dancing, signing, eating, and drinking
from their own vineyards. All the guards, soldiers, and priests, shared in
this event, being amongst fellow kalons. The Spirit shined upon them.

Days pass, most of the kingdom has gone back to their everyday rutines.
Except for 3, shady, kalons (These kalons are not 'real'/owned.). These
3 kalons, think very lowly of that of the Spirit.

"Why be ruled under something we cannot see..?" They questioned eachother.
"If we cannot see this 'Spirit', how do we know that we arn't being brain washed?"
"I say..." the third kalon speaks up, "We should let the people choose. Do you
want to put your trust in something that could be fake? Or... Put your trust in
someone whom you see, hear, and smell? We are no myths or Legends. The
Spirit is no longer watching over us, it is time to make our move."

Thus, the rebelious kalons proceded to make the kingdom's people question.
"Is the 'Spirit' actually real?"

Kalons began to rise against those who still believed in the Spirit. But this,
was just all in the plan. With the guards busy with keeping the pedestrians
away from the castle (in fear of them destroying the crystal), the three rebelious
kalons, sneaked themselves into the castle. Once they got a hold on the crystal,
the brought it out for the people to see...

"WE NO LONGER ARE GOING TO BE MISLED BY WHAT ENSLAVES US IN THIS DOME!"
One shouts over the mobs.

Kalons and other species roar in approval.

Then... they dropped the crystal... Shattering it, into thousands of pieces...

Aylward is banned/chased from the kingdom, and left in the wilderness.
From there he travels in search of another way for the Spirit to
make connection agian to their world. He travels far and wide,
searching for something that could potentially lead him to a new
start. Along the way, he meets new and intresting new kalons/species.

Aylward meets Briar, when Aylward stops art her village/town to get supplies. Briar gets nosey and asks what Aylwards is up to. Aylward replies saying that he isn't from around here, and just stopped by to get supplies for his journey. Briar gets suspicious, and asks if he's gotten into trouble. Aylward becomes sarcastsic, and agrees that he isn't accepted back home. Aylward quietly explains his situation, and asks if Briar can keep it a secret...

"Sorry..." Briar snuffs at Aylward, "... can't promise to keep this muzzle shut. Is there a bounty on you?" A wicked smirk grows on her face.

Aylward moans. "Not at the moment. Is there a favor I can do for you to keep your voice down about it?"

"Hmm... Maybe there is..."

"What is the cost..." Aylward's voice become increasingly forceful.

"I wan to go on your journey..."



Luthair // The prince // male, he/him // Acquaintance // Belongs to Hinoka

Aylward goes through Luthiar's kingdom on the way to some distance mountains. He and Briar stop to pick up supplies. Some soldiers recongize Aylward from previous scouting missions. The soldiers reported to Luthiar. He then later sends two guards to accompany Aylward to his palace/castle. Briar waits for Aylward to return.

Luthiar finds information on Aylward, and asks if he would like to be part of his Royal Guards. Aylward declines his offer...

"I'm sorry, I appreciate your offer, but I'm already devoted to one higharchy." Aylward replys, knealing down on one knee.

"Alright. Would you then, be intrested in some of our common currency? I think it would be usefull..."

"Thank you Prince Luthair, but I'm fine as it is. I have plenty to keep me going..."

"Really?" Luthiar replies sarcastically, "Do you have enough to provide for your other travel companion as well?"

Aylward keeps quiet, and avoids Luthiar's eyes.

"Take this..." Luthiar signals a servant to bring some gold coins, "You'll need it."

"Thank you, Prince Luthiar."
