Personality: keeps to self, snobby, but insecure, unfriendly for the most part
Backstory:
paris hated their mother. they couldn't wrap their mind around the fact that she was trying. paris was part of a very poor, very small family, in a very poor, very small house. they wanted more than they could have. and so they ran away. paris got a job at a shabby little gas station (they still work there) and moved into an abandoned room down an alley. they ate little more than chips and beef jerky, but they didn't care. they were alive right? and thats what mattered to paris. but they knew they couldnt live like this forever. they had to go back. it took them almost a month to find their own home. it had been so long, the address was foggy in their mind.
they stood on the door step, knocking, but no answer came. the door was unlocked. they looked around, it seemed like someone still lived there, and the pictures on the wall were familiar. so where was she? they walked back outside and saw a neighbor across the street. on the slight chance that they might know where Paris's mother was, they asked. a look a confusion, and then sadness spread across the neighbor's face as they asked.
paris couldn't believe what was said next, didn't want to believe it.
she just died...
they repeated it in their head, tears filling their eyes.
why are you so sad? you never cared about her before.
paris didn't know, all they knew was that she was gone and they hurt her.
paris managed to find their mother's hijab, left behind, and swore to wear it from then on in memory of her.
