Meraki (Pronounced, "Meh - rah - key" - plural and singular - like Sheep) are a species of flightless dragons with an avid love for hats and everything about hats, which they make out of gossamer.
It is an extremely rare occurrence to see a Meraki without a hat.

Laufey is normally a quiet individual, with multiple disorders. He suffers mildly from anxiety, ( not severe enough to disrupt his daily life, but causes mild discomfort sometimes) and chronic depression ( milder then acute, but lasts longer and is reoccurring.) However, Nobody typically knows this of him because he has gotten good at functioning through his issues, so much so that sometimes, he even forgets he has them himself! Laufey loves reading with a passion, reading over his owners shoulders whenever possible. Through his quiet and book loving front, when he gets comfortable around a new human or MD, he becomes very witty and fun-loving, as well as silly. he loves making odd expressions to make others laugh. He strongly believes in love, and true love at that, and does not invest his heart in another lightly.

secret/interesting tidbit:

At night, when his owner is asleep, he sneaks into their book collection and reads until he is too tired to keep his eyes open. Although he has been constantly doing this for years, Harlock still has yet to catch onto his nightly activities. Much better then sneaking out though, Right?
