- When the kit opened her eyes, she looked around. Her parents were in the car with her. If she recalled correctly, they'd crashed. She shook the door handle, but the door refused to budge. She was stuck and her parents, whether she knew it or not, were gone- forever. Daneia wept profusely. Why wouldn't her parents wake up? She pushed the door and slammed on it, with no luck. Soon enough, she realized how hungry she was. Her mouth was so dry, she needed water. How long had the kit been in here? Daneia's eyelids fluttered for a moment before closing. When she woke up again, she was in the hospital. Daneia groaned, and shifted a bit on the bed. She was so sore from the wreck. She closed her heavy eyes once more, and fell asleep. When she awakened, a nurse was hovering over her. Daneia spoke, "Where-where's my daddy and mommy?" The nurse winced a bit, probably regretting having to tell Daneia this. "Oh, honey-they're... with the angels now." Daneia frowned, being somewhat smart for her age, she asked,"Why'd they leave me for some dumb angels? Was I not behaved?" She then began weeping The nurse frowned, seeing the kit cry. "Er- well, they.. they died sweetpea, I'm sorry. There was nothing we could do for them." Daneia's lip trembled, and she burst into tears, pounding the bed with her fists as she stuffed her face into her pillow. "No! You're lying!" She wailed for a while then, for she was all alone in the world- or was she? What the little kit didn't know that this was both the end- and a beginning.
Daneia went to live with her grandmother after her parent's death. She helped cook and clean, as grandma had back problems. She didn't particularly enjoy her life, but it was better than being an orphan. Besides, grandma gave her free cookies! Daneia always wanted to learn how to make them, especially after biting into one. They were so fresh, and the chocolate so gooey. It was perfect. However, her favorite minds were the cattrack cookies. With peanut butter chips, white chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate chips, and M&Ms- it was a chunky chocolate amazingness, to describe it honestly. However, Daneia had become a bit of a mute after her parents' death. She didn't particularly want to talk, nor would she for quite some time. So, instead, Daneia watched as her grandmother baked them. Then, the little kalon pointed to the recipe and looked up at her grandmother. "You want to make some with me dear?" Daneia nodded. It would be the time when she'd learn just how much she loved baking. She'd carry that love on through he rest of her life.
Daneia is an extremely shy kalon. She's never liked talking to anyone, after her parent's death. Although the quietness should've gone away by now, it seems it stuck. She got too used to a life of quiet, and so she loves one. She gets anxious and nervous around strangers, as she hates conversation in general, especially with those she doesn't trust. One reason behind all this is that she's scared if she bonds with someone, she'll just lose them like her parents. Daneia's life is somewhat miserable you'd think, with these circumstances. However, she's actually a very joyous kalon! Daneia's always happy, and optimistic. She looks at the sunny side of things, no matter what. Having so many bad experiences in life, she learned hat if you wait for and hope for the best, it'll come eventually and you'll be pleasantly surprised. Daneia can be a bit annoying in this sense, always fixing things for people, especially grumpy kalons who just want to mope around and say woe is me. Daneia's also extremely kind, all the time. She gives away free cookies to kids she doesn't even know, she saves a bird from a nest. She sacrifices so much of her time to help others that she rarely has time to herself! However, she seems to be perfectly happy with her life, so you could suppose it's what she likes to do, fighting back the bad in life with good. Daneia has always been a little sensitive. If you're rude to her, she'll probably burst into tears. This is mostly because she expects everyone to return her kindness. She hates being teased and bullied, and anyone who does such will probably regret it later, because she'll be so sweet in return to them. She loves making them feel guilty for their actions, and even though they roll their eyes, and brush it off, she knows it affects them. Daneia loves the looks on heir faces, because she knows they're covering up their guilt. She can be a bit of a know it all at times, which often annoys people. How can a kalon be so perfect? Daneia hates when others say that about her, because she has many, many flaws. However, she simply hides them. She's a good deceiver, making everyone think she's cherry and happy, when in the inside she's weeping and miserable. Her bond with her grandmother was so strong, and now she's not only lost her mother but her grandmother. Although she has her wonderful mate and kits- and grandkids for goodness sakes, she still has her sorrows. She regrets being so shy growing up, she still has problems making friends even today. Daneia regrets being in the car when her parents died, maybe they wouldn't have died if she wasn't there. Every small action could've helped cause it. It's stupid, she knows, but she can't help but wonder. Daneia wishes her grandmother hadn't died so soon. She'd finally gotten out of her shell, but her death pushed her right back into it. Finally, meeting Peter and her kits, and grandkit, she began coming out of her shell again, and she still is.
Daneia runs a small bakery in the center of a town. She fresh baked all of her goods, and lets others watch as she does so. She tries her best to be super friendly, and helpful. Her apartment, which she shares with Peter, as both of her children have moved out, is above the bakery. She loves her work, and wouldn't trade it for any other job in the world. Daneia also loves her family and friends, dearly, as they bring her out into the world when she'd rather just bake and be quiet all day.
Peter and Daneia met when Peter's ship crashed on earth. Daneia had gone out to a field in a park to read a book peacefully, and suddenly some sort of UFO was in the ground. Then, a rather handsome kalon emerged. She thought it was some sort of dream, or she was going crazy. A kalon had crashed in a space ship? No way! It couldn't be possible. She approached the kalon of course, but cautiously. They spoke, exchanging a few words. She offered to take him back to her apartment to help clean up his wounds. He obliged, and she cared for him untill her was healed, much like a baby bird fallen from its nest. He helped out around the bakery whenever he could, telling her he wanted to help out. Daneia allowed him to, although he seemed to be a bit of a klutz. Slowly, they fell in love, realizing life was different without each other, and that they loved being together. They became mates, and had their two wonderful children- as well as one little grandson!
Daneia loves her children, Leviticus and Grace. Leviticus is a sweet guy. He used to help Daneia out in the kitchen, before he moved out. He's completely soccer and basketball obsessed though, so it was a bit hard to talk to him at times. However, he was always super sweet and helpful whenever he could be, and Daneia loved that about him.
Daneia's daughter grace is the sweetest girl. She's super adventurous, like her father. She wants to explore new things and get out there. While Daneia admires this, she can't really relate too well. However, Grace does/did help out in the kitchen from time to time, which Daneia appreciates and appreciated a lot. She loves her daughter's upbeat personality, always being able to cheer up Daneia when she was feeling down.
Although Daneia finds it hard to make enemies, she still seems to have one- Hunter. For some strange reason or another, Daneia despises Hunter, Leviticus' mate (probably because she doesn't accept cookies). She's always a tiny bit harsh towards Hunter, judging her every moment. She tried time and time again to tell Lev there was something wrong with her, but her persistent son just wouldn't listen. Now, it seems she's stuck with Hunter!
Overall though, Daneia's just a really sweet, shy kalon, who's had more than her fair share of tragedies in her life. She feels pressured and pushed down by society, but finds comfort in baking and family.
