i posted this early to make sure that i didn't base it off something else before getting too far along with the lines. word of warning; there is a minimum of simplicity you're allowed to have in a cover layer before it just looks like trash. for example, just tossing a literal scribble over plain white doesn't actually look like a cover. don't repeat my stupid, kids.

This actually looks really cool as is. Man, to me it looks like a three dimensional piece of amber that's been intricately carved. Very nice
