Ravenpaw sat on a haybale in the barn, gazing out at the blasts of light in the sky from a window.
He was captivated by the yellow and blue flashes, and didn't notice Barley creep up behind him.
"What are you doing, Ravenpaw?"
"Watching the fireworks."
Barley instantly leapt at Ravenpaw, and in almost unison they laughed.
"Happy New Year, Barley." Ravenpaw happily exclaimed.
