one extra: her coloring reminds me of what is currently outside my window. Its snowy here, and theres a white snowy field followed by some trees, and a grey cloudy sky. The trees, due to being in the distance, are faded and lighter gray looking than they actually are. Thats why I want to call her horizon line

one extra: their owner keeps terrariums of insects that are in the cold, to keep them safe from dying. vermillion loves to look at them, just observing them, and making sure that their owner's wants and needs are taken care of.

one extra: when she was found, sitting on my porch in a box that was damp, i wasn't sure she'd make it. she was small, thin, and cold. i gave her food, which disappeared in seconds. i was worried. years later, snookums(being named that for the sweetness she maintained after all she went through) is content, cozy, albeit smaller than the other snakes. she is very loving and I love her too.

one extra: If there is one thing that can be said about Wisteria, it's that she's a little escape artist. If there's a way out of her enclosure, she'll find it. And once she's out, she hides, and it's incredibly difficult to find her again. So far, her list of former hiding spots include inside a boot, under the television, and atop the curtain rod.

one extra: Duckling is a happy, adventurous little noodle. She's an escape artist, and often finds way to get out of her cage and explore the house. More often than not she gets herself stuck in some ridiculous place and has to be rescued from her own curiosity. But she's still loved all the same.

Hypnos is usually sleeping, and she loves to snuggle next to her buddies. Strangely, she likes to snuggle up next to Touka, a fluffy maine coon. Hypnos is closer to Touka than she is to her fellow snakes, and she doesn't need to be caged at night, because she follows Touka everywhere she goes. It's an unlikely pair, one that catches the eye of everyone who happens to pass by.
Another strange thing Hypnos can't get enough of, is bubble baths. She loves to slither into a warm bath and rest, Touka resting somewhere near by. Hypnos only ever takes organic lavender bubble baths, because most other bubble baths have harmful chemicals, or contain some type of peppermint or mint oil. Peppermint burns her eyes, we've tried it before. It didn't turn out well.
