As for your Chromebook-Tablet issues. Mostly I can help with these sort of problems, but I just have no knowledge of Chromebooks and how they operate [perhaps if you re-install the tablet software]

for the tablet thing, if it's just your pen pressure that's not working, it may be the browser your using. I know chrome doesn't always allow pen pressure to work.

have you tried checking the settings? my computer recognized it as an unusable item and I believe blocked it? I had to manually go in and edit the settings so that it would register it~

Chromebooks don't have disc readers, so I had to download it onto a flash drive and try it that way, but chrome keeps saying I need to install file readers, and then I need to install a file reader for the last file reader, and then another system to run all the file readers--it's like a bread crumb trail of gross software issues. I enlisted help to get it fixed, but good lord chromebooks are like big babies.
I used the tablet with a different laptop that's powered by windows and it worked fabulously. Just this dang chromebook *eye twitch* *eye twitch*

I heard that Chromebooks have a software that doesn't mesh well with tablets, that may have to do with it as well
