Originating from the eastern side of the Appalachian Mountains, Mountain Miniatures have been around longer than the Dinosaurs have. Though they have not kept the same form throughout their existence. They started out as tiny prehistoric equines, barley as tall as a small dog. Though as time passed the Miniatures has to adapt to their new environment. The world changed and so did they. They grew taller, narrower ears became prominent, long manes and tails were a must, and since temperatures changed dramastically, thick coats of fur grew into them during the winter months in order to stay warm. Although the newer and adapted version of the Mountain Miniature is taller than their ancestor, they only grow to be about 11.3 hh at max. The tallest Mountain Miniature recorded was a 12.1 hh. But it is believed that that certain Miniature had to be a cross breed, and not a pure Mountain Miniature. In the recent years of Mountain Miniatures' existence, humans developed and became a prominent part of the Miniatures' lives. As humans grew smarter they tamed and captured the Miniatures, using them for work and as carriage horses. Though some strong bounds between the two species have been recorded too. So, will you adopt your own today?

Mountain Miniatures have small, narr
-ow ears that help detect any predator
about to attack. These ears have deve
-loped from the tiny stubs their ances-
tors had.

These Miniatures have tiny but very align-
ed hooves, making them have almost per-
feet hoof anatomy. These hooves help the
Miniatures travel through the steep parts
of the Appalachian Mountains.

Mountain Miniatures have long manes and tails, which originate from their previously "shaved"-like manes. The Miniatures also grow in large coats of fur during the colder months to stay warm.

Mountain Miniatures are short and stub-
by, only growing to be about 11.0 hh on
average. Though the tallest has grown
to 12.1 hh and the shortest being 8.2hh.
Their heads are very short with round m
-uzzles as well.

These Miniatures have bead-like eyes that
people would describe as looking like mar
-bles. Usually, there is not much of a ind-
ent above the eye, making the Miniatures
look happy and bright.

Mountain Miniature's legs are usually very short, with 1.9 ft being the average size. The longest legs have been 2.3 ft, while the shortest being 1.3 ft. Their legs are very skinny though.

Mountain Miniatures often feast upon any tall grass they
can find. They often move as a herd to food filled places,
never leaving each other's sides. Berries and applies are
some treats they eat if they can find them. They are com
-pletley herbivorous and would never eat any other animal.

Since the Appalachian Mountains are full of life and moist-
ure, water isn't too scarce. Wherever the water isn't dirty
the Miniatures will drink there. They aren't too picky, con
-sidering their past. Sometimes the Prehistoric Times got
so hot that the only bodies of water would dry up.

➤ Stallions have 15 breeding slots, mares have 10.
➤ Every Miniature can be bred/have a foal 6 times
a month.
➤ Every Miniature has a 2 day cool down after
a foal was born.
➤ Foals grow to adulthood 5 days after birth.
➤ Mountain Miniatures cannot be traded/sold.
➤ If you want to gift or rehome a Miniature, let me
know.
➤ Do not use other's Mountain Miniatures without
permission.
➤ You can only compete in competitions if you have
more than 1 Miniature.
➤ I reserve the right to take and rehome Miniatures
if I believe it is fair.
➤ If your banned, no posting on any of the threads.

➤ I have the right to add more rules, though I will
let the community know of these changes.

➤ There is several types of artists, general art-
ists, adoptable/raffle, breeding artists, custom
artists, and guest artists. All artists will be cho-
sen through comps.
➤ One free custom a month per artist.
➤ Mountain Miniatures will only ever be natural
colors. Read the rarities section for more info.
➤ Common is unlimited, every 5 horses there
can be an uncommon, every 10 a rare, every 25
a very rare, and every 50 a legend.
➤ Almost any color is fine for eyes, but again
read the rarities section for more info.
➤ Read the rarities section for mutation info.
➤ Follow the form of Miniature Adopt #02 to have
the correct adopt form and post.
➤ Check out coat color genes list if you are having
trouble figuring out the correct genes.
➤ Add the words "Adopt?" written by the
Miniatures up for adoption.
➤ Remove the foal completely when mak
-ing an adopt.
➤ All breeding Minis are created at the Breeding
Barn, all customs are made at the Customs Page.
➤ You must make at least one adopt a week. PM
if you cannot due to personal issues.
➤ Announce the winner at least two days after
the competition has closed.
➤ Stay fair with your judgment and if you decide
to pick a runner up, let me know.
➤ No line edits are allowed.
➤ Add the halter once adopted.
➤ I reserve the right to "fire" you if you break
too many of the artist rules.
➤ PM me if someone is breaking the rules.
➤ I have the right to add more rules, though I will
let the community know of these changes.

Warnings will be given after a community
member breaks a rule. Two warnings re-
sult in a strike. Strikes will be further ex
-plained to the right.

After one strike, a one week ban will be
given. After two strikes, a monthly ban
will be given. Three strikes is a perman
-ent ban.

Two warnings result in a strike. If you get two warnings after that, a second strike will be given. And if you get two more warnings after that, that is three strikes and a permanent ban.

Main Thread - Where all of the adoptable Miniatures will be shown.
Information Center - Includes info about competitions, certain items, and etc.
Breeding Mate Search Center - Where you can search for a breeding mate if you're having a hard time finding one or two, or you can advertise your Miniature's for breeding. If you want to advertise then from there you will be given a form that includes your horses breeding slots, name, gender, color, genes, and breeding notes.
Matchmaking Center - If you want to just find a long lasting mate for your Miniature then you can search on this thread for one or advertise some of your Miniatures for a mate.
Breeding Limit Center - The thread where we keep track of each Miniature's breeding uses and how many monthly breeding limit slots they have left. A breeding limit slot is used when the Stallion/Mare's foal is born. In total, each mares and stallions can only have 6 foals born a month, this thread is where we keep track of that.
Breeding Thread - Where breeding artists post their forms in order for you to find a breeding artist to do your pair.
Breeding Barn - Where all of the foals from breeding will be created.
Customs Thread - Where custom artists post their forms in order for you to find a custom artist to do your request.
Customs - Where all of the Miniatures from payed custom requests will be created.
Archive - An archive of all the Miniatures ever made, including regular adoptions, raffles, breeding foals, myo/staff customs, holidays/events. Including in each archive slot the Miniature's ID//Show Name//Barn Name//Gender//Color//Owner.
