patchwork pets (otherwise known as PWPs) are stuffed animal like creatures who live from the small heart that is located on their body! they a cuddly little creatures who live on an island factory somewhere in the atlantic ocean where over 97% of the population is. they are very peaceful and kind creatures who will do anything to make you smile!

What Animal is a PWP? ;; a patchwork pet can be any animal imaginable.
they can be anything from a sea creature, a mythical creature, something made up, or even a small bug!

What do they look like? ;; PWPs are stuffed animal looking creatures who resemble some type of
animal. They have fabrics stitched together that form what they look like. They have button eyes and
sometimes stuffing or string from the stitching falling out that makes holes in their stitching. they also
have a 'heart' somewhere on their torso that gives them their life-force and thoughts. they are normally
very chibi and cute looking as well.

Relationships/Gender/Breeding? ;; sadly, you cannot breed them at the moment. but they can
be in a relationship with another PWP if you would want them to be <: also, a PWP can be any sexuality
or gender since they are not gender/sexuality specific due to the fact that they are stuffed animals <3

What do they eat? ;; PWPs don't eat. due to the fact that they don't have any stomach/organs and
rely on their stuffed heart for their life force, eating and drinking fluids is no necessary for them. though
they do need to sleep and they are fairly lazy creatures!

Location? ;; Patchwork Pets are made in a factory on a large island located somewhere in the
Atlantic ocean. Over 97% of the population of PWPs live on the island!

so what are patchwork pets exactly?
Patchwork Pets, otherwise known as PWPs, are stuffed animal like creatures who were made in a factory called "The Patchwork Workshop". this cute little factory is located on a small island somewhere in the atlantic and is a place of solitude and safe haven for these patchwork pets. over 97% of the worlds PWP population lives on this rather large island.
now to get more into what PWPs really are. Patchwork Pets are, like said before, stuffed animal like creatures. instead of meat and bones, their skeletal system is made of a plastic like structure that looks much like a normal skeleton. they are made by stitching together multiple fabric designs and colors around this plastic skeleton and then filled with a some color of stuffing. though if you were to leave the PWP like that, it would just be a normal stuffed animal that has a plastic skeleton inside of it. what makes these stuffed animals really unique is that they have a heart. no, not a heart that pumps blood through your veins but a small, little stitched up heart that is located somewhere on the PWPs torso. normally on the shoulder or chest but it really can be anywhere. these hearts of theirs cannot be seen normally and are put under a small fabric heart that is placed over top of it and stitched in to locate where it is. these hearts are very important to PWPs because it is what gives them life. their heart holds what emotions they will have. what the believe in. what they like or dislike. every PWP is unique.

[ Respect ]
▰ Respect each other at all times. This goes for staff as well. Any sort of discriminated, etc. is not tolerated on this thread and will be dealt with in strike or ban.

▰ Do not bug, bully, or poke at anybody in this community for anything.

[ Adoption & Ownership ]
▰ As of right now, you can own as many PWPs as you would like
▰ Respect artist's forms for adoption; please do not post forms after adoption is closed, etc.

[ Community ]
▰ Please ask before making community threads. [1x1's/Rp's/etc are fine]
▰ PWPs may become a/your fursona/s
▰ Do not change your PWP in any way [adding items/clothing is fine]
▰ Do not add any accessories that massively change your PWP [robotic leg, etc] if you have questions on what you can put on your PWP, just pm me.
▰ No public nsfw, controversially offensive, or anything that is non-child friendly material.
▰ Feel free to create your PWP to be in a fantasy land, AU, or any other type of world but please be respectful to one another's wishes for what world they believe their PWP to be in.
▰ Users may be banned from specific threads not just every thread in whole.
▰ Users who create said threads are in charge of moderating them and taking care of the threads though Main Page Moderators and myself may moderate those threads if we see fit.

[ Creation ]
▰ PWPs are a closed species so they may only be made by PWP Staff unless you have a MYO/CM ticket.
▰ GA's [Guest Artists] have 1 month to create 3 designs. But no customs or nursery batches unless permitted by myself.
▰ You may not create your own PWP unless you have a CM/MYO [custom/make your own] Ticket. These tickets are sold [url]here[/url] at the shop. Or can be won/gifted from another person or artist. More information about Customs and MYOs can be found in the shop thread.

[ Trading/Selling/Etc. ]
▰ PWPs can not be traded or sold unless I, the owner, is selling the PWP.
▰ If you wish to get rid or disown a PWP, contact .umbreon.. You may then host a re-adoption or let PWP Staff take care of it
▰ PWPs may be gifted if it is okay with the person receiving the PWP and you have notified .umbreon. and the archivist prior.
▰ Tickets & Potions may be gifted as you please.

[ Cool-Downs ]
▰ If you have received a gift, you cannot receive another from the same user for 30 days. A PWP cannot be gifted if it hasn't been adopted for more than 5 days.

[ STAFF RULES ]
▰ Staff must follow all rules stated above. They apply to Staff as much as anyone else.
▰ Ask before making any 'special designs' as normally these will be event pets made by myself. [Halloween, Christmas, etc] or, they should be put under a specific Event Thread that I would have made for the occasion.
▰ Put a UFA sign up for any PWP up for adoption and the CM sign for any custom PWP. Remove the UFA sign when the PWP is adopted and add the user to the list to edit the PWP to put the proper gender on/accessories/etc.
▰ PWPs can be adopted through any form but the form must have at least a Name and Gender.
▰ No restricting the PWP OC wise. [no subjecting a gender, sexuality, etc]
▰ Put the PWP Number [#] in the title. The title should look something like this;; PWP/Patchwork Pet #___ - [any extra stuff here]
▰ Legendary/Specials may only be made during special occasions and will be made by myself or if I have said for a specific artist to make it.
▰ If the contest is not judged within a month, the artist will be contacted and will be given a 5 day notice before it will be judged by myself or some other artist/mod.
▰ Artists have one custom slot each month if they don't want to use one of their custom slots, they can give it away but they cannot sell it, trade it, etc.
▰ -50s and -00s can only be created by myself unless said otherwise by me!
▰ Artists must have created at least 10 PWPs before they can create any customs!
