I felt like doing a poppy for Remembrance Day. Is Remembrance Day only in Canada or do they have it in the US too?
I'm not sure if this will turn out intermediate or not.

Thank you! Remembrance Day is on Nov. 11th, it's when we honor our fallen soldiers.

Not just the fallen, all whom have served past & presently. The poppy became a symbol during WWI...also known as Poppy Day or Armistice Day (the event it commemorates) or Veterans Day. The poppy emblem was chosen because of the poppies that bloomed across some of the worst battlefields of Flanders in World War I, their red colour an appropriate symbol for the bloodshed of trench warfare.

We have rememberence day in the UK aswell may the soldiors who died for us R.I.P

Yer we have Rememberance day in Australia too, New Zealand as well I think... On the 11th day of the 11th month, in the 11th minute of the 11th hour, a light shines through a hole in the roof of our Shrime of rememberance, onto the tomb of the unknown soilder.
