Anatomy
•Small, ferret x cat like body.
•Medium-furred.
•Tiny paws, built for fast movement and climbing.
•Tail ranging between short and long.
•Short, sharp claws.
•Ferret-like teeth, some have bigger fangs.
•Big, cat-ish ears.
•Grow 15 – 25 cm in height, 30 - 45 cm in length.
•They may grow horns, some wear masks.
•They get thick fur in winter, and shed in summer.

Relationships and Genders
•Males have dual horns while females has only one.
•Most don't mate for life but it is possible.
•The male is often more dominant than the female.
•Only opposite sex pairs can breed.
•Pygmy beasts may breed 2 times in a lifetime.
•Each litter is 1-2 kits.

Habitat
•Pygmy Beasts are mostly in Boreal Forest regions.
•They nest in old fox dens or make nests under tree roots/inside hollow trees.
•The environment greatly impacts their lifestyle.
•Some Pygmy Beasts are captured and kept as pets.

Feeding
•Pygmy Beasts are Omnivores.
•They feed on:
-Insects
-Small rodents
-Nuts
-Berries
-Branches/tree bark

Social Life
•Pygmy Beasts do not live in packs.
•Pygmy Beasts aren't very territorial.
•If their young is threatened they will join together to wipe out the threat.
•They communicate by soft - loud clicks and mews.
•The father brings food to the den while the mother stays with the kits.
•The mother will often carry the kits from den to den to keep them from being discovered.

General
• Follow CS rules.
• Respect everyone at all times.
• Do not harass/beg users for customs/breedings/gifts etc.
• Do not complain if you don't get something you wanted.

Adoption
• You may own up to 10 Pygmy Beasts. 2 may be custom-made.
• Respect Artists in adoption; don't post forms when adoption is closed, blackmail, etc.
• You may trade/gift your beast after 1 week of ownership.
• Take care of your beast.

OC'ing
• You may make a pygmy beast your OC. (As long as you own it)
• They may be used in a roleplay.
• Do not change your pygmy beasts anatomy.
• Don't add accessories without permission of the artist.
• No public nsfw, controversially offensive, or otherwise non-childfriendly material.
• Pygmy Beasts may be Fursonas.

Creation
• Only artist may create/design Pygmy Beasts.
• You may make art of your beast, tryout art, etc.
• Artists have to make at least 1 adopt every 3.5 days.
• Guest artists have to make at least 1 adopt a week.

Community
• Ask before creating public threads. 1v1 roleplays, OC lists, etc. are fine.
• You are in charge of regulating said threads and making sure users are qualified to take part.
• Please do not mini-mod, but you may report to a staff member.
• Your thread may have its own rules that you may enforce so long as they do not defy any rules listed here.
• Users may be banned from specific threads in particular rather than the whole community (partial-bans).

Exchange
• Your beasts are not trading cards or currency, they may not be traded or sold.
• You may only sell beasts that you yourself bought for currency (DA pts, C$, $, etc), and only for equal or less than you bought it for. Those you won through other methods (form-writing, art, raffle, etc) may not be sold for currency, including nursery batches.
• If you wish to disown a beast, contact me. (mordecai.)
• Beasts may be gifted with the permission of the receiver, an Ownership Archivist, and the notification of the original artist.
• There is a 30-day cooldown between transfers. Both users may not gift eachother for 30 days.
• A Pygmy Beast cannot be gifted away if has been bred within the past 30 days.
• Disowning a Beast for readoption does not count as a transfer.

Staff Rules
• Respect etc. applies to staff as much as anyone else.
• Use the color references for their respective colors.
• Ask before creating any sort of 'special' design, such as holiday, event, or character-themed.
• Put UFA up on new designs. (Up For Adoption)
• Please follow the rules of the rarity guide. If you want to make something outside these rules, let me know.
• Put the beasts number in the title.
• Pygmy Beasts may not be traded for OCs, art, etc.
• Artists may make their own custom after they have made 10 adoptions.
• All staff (except guest artists) may own up to 13 beasts, 3 may be customs.
• Judging Limit: If an adoption has been closed but not judged for a month, the Artist will be contacted. They will be given 7 days to respond. If no response is given another staff member will judge the adoption.
Guest Artists
• Guest artist ownership maximum is the same as an ordinary user's.
• You cannot sell Guest Artist-made designs off-site or for currency, only form judging.
• You may not make your own customs, or customs for others.
• Guest artist terms last 1 month.
• You may not be GA two months in a row.
• You may not make runner-ups.
• Guest artists may apply for positions on the first day of each month.
