Meet the Ru-Ru! This giant bird is a special species found only in the world of Katkins. Katkins have domesticated this already gentle-spirited bird to become a travel source for them. They often adorn the birds with ornate harnesses and cushioned seats, and can be seen riding them just about anywhere. Though Ru-Ru are not sentient, they form very close bonds with their riders—they have a deep connection and seem to understand one another astonishingly clearly. Ru-Ru get their name from the low cooing noise they make when they are happy, "rooooo, rooooo". They can, however, make a variety of noises, including squawks, clucks, screeches, tweets, and more. Each Ru-Ru also has their own unique song distinct to them alone. Though they are flightless, their long and powerful legs allow them to run quickly for long distances. They can also hop rather high, using their wings to suspend themselves momentarily in the air.

Anyone who owns a Katkin is welcome to make a Ru-Ru as their companion! Here's some guidelines:

• To be added to the drawing, simply post below with the name of the Katkin(s) you own.
• You may make 1 Ru-Ru per Kat that you own.
• Your Ru-Ru is subject to my approval after you post it!
• You are welcome to add different traits other than the ones I have pre-drawn, but they will need to be approved by me before the design is official.
• Ru-Ru's can have any sort of design on them, but generally they are mostly dull/natural colors with bright accents. Their round cheeks are ALWAYS brightly colored!
• Their eyes are comprised of 2-3 alternating colors.
• You're highly encouraged to add harnesses, bridles, seat cushions, blankets -- any sort of gear -- to your Ru-Ru!
• You're welcome to alter your Ru-Ru's design anytime after posting it -- just let me know first!
