Silly advice: Get really, really sleepdrunk and/or keep a dream diary and see what eldritch horrors concepts your mind comes up with

Serious advice: Join a writing/art community. I find pet breeding sims work especially well, because you end up with more unique designs to work with, and there's already a (hopefully) thriving community there so it's really easy to communicate with people. Personally, I can attribute a lot of my growth in art and writing to Flight Rising (specifically, the tumblr community)! Skill of any kind is never an island; people learn by looking to others.

In an active community of creators, you have this environment where people are constantly bouncing ideas off of one another, and picking up pieces from other people. This person draws eyes really well, so you take a closer look and experiment with reproducing that effect in your own art. This person is really great with colors; maybe you could ask them about it sometime. That other person's writing is always incredible because they incorporate enough realistic details to make it feel real, and another's writing is a pure delight to read because it's packed with jokes. Maybe you could try both, and see what you like.

Of course, there's also that drive to improve when you're surrounded by exceptionally skilled people! Just that feeling of waking up everyday, checking in, and wishing that you could do that. But you can, if you work at it, so you do! Does that make sense?

Heh, a taur-taur adopt center. Come one, come all, get your abomination today! Actually, taur adopts sound pretty neat... They'd certainly be very unique. I understand they're not everyone cup of tea though, perhaps chimeric adopts would be more suitable.

Oh yeah, he has to lay down on his side a lot to rest. Or find some warm water to float in. He'd go for ice packs or hot compresses, but, unfortunately, he doesn't have hands. Go figure.
