The Village Wizard

"Did you hear the King has a new Adviser?" The young wizard peeks curiously at you, and you have to step back a moment to take in the scene. Everything from his long white hair, to patchy vest and hat seem to convey a kind of...ancient wisdom. Behind him a small black and white cat bats at a glowing plant, entranced by the floating tendrils.
"I'm on a quest to see the King actually! Can you help me?"
The wizard glances up, and you're acutely aware of his glowing white eyes and the way they stare through you. "Of course, just go down the central path and continue on to the castle gate." You nod, turning to head off with one more curious glance at him. Something in your gut tells you that he'll be helpful to you later. You shrug off the feeling and continue on, determined to complete your quest.
